If you mean me in particular — I do see beauty in many subjects: women, men, landscapes, flowers… — but this isn’t a project about seeing beauty, but rather — working with my own feelings of attraction and curiosity as well as understanding the visual nature of eros. I don’t shoot flowers much either, but it doesn’t mean I don’t find them beautiful.

I think it’s important that photographers shoot subjects that interest them, that have complexity for them. I’m not trying to be egalitarian.
